At Change Logic, our work goes beyond change management. It’s about making meaningful contributions that resonate with our values and supporting those making a difference.
This year, we had the pleasure of spending our annual year-end function in beautiful Plettenberg Bay. Beyond the team-building activities, we were honoured to connect with the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) Station 14, an organisation dedicated to saving lives and protecting our oceans and coastline.
During our visit, NSRI Station 14 showed us one of their life-saving skills: how to tie a bowline knot, a simple yet essential technique in marine rescue. This hands-on session underscored the expertise and dedication of the NSRI volunteers, who selflessly serve the community and work to protect both human life and the natural environment. Inspired by their commitment, Change Logic proudly contributed R20,000 to NSRI Station 14 to support their ongoing operations.
The Role and Mission of NSRI
Established in 1967, the NSRI is a non-profit organisation that provides essential sea rescue services across South Africa. With a network of 43 stations and over 1,300 highly trained volunteers, the NSRI operates on the principle of community service. From rescuing people in distress at sea to educating the public on water safety, their work is crucial for coastal communities and the thousands of visitors drawn to South Africa’s beaches annually.
NSRI’s work extends beyond rescue missions. They also focus on environmental preservation, proactively reducing plastic waste and educating the public about marine conservation. This environmental and human safety approach aligns closely with Change Logic’s values of supporting organisations that protect our communities and future.
Change Logic’s Commitment to Community and Sustainability
At Change Logic, effective change is about creating sustainable impacts, not only for our clients but also for the world around us. Our partnership with NSRI is just one of the ways we strive to make a difference. Whether it’s through our change management expertise or our support of local environmental and community initiatives, we are committed to uplifting those who are shaping a better future.
We invite our clients, partners, and community members to support the NSRI and other essential services. By backing these local heroes, we contribute to a legacy of safety, environmental stewardship, and community resilience. Watch their social media pages for their upcoming safety messaging for the festive season!
